About the FLASCO Cancer Trials Network (FCTN)
The FLASCO (Florida Society of Clinical Oncology) Cancer Trials Network was created to identify and strengthen research capability at oncology practices across Florida with the goal of increasing the number of trials initiated in the state. This will be accomplished by offering sponsors a centrally managed group of credentialed and qualified sites.
The FCTN will provide efficient management and improve the time for research protocol start-up and accrual by promoting the individual institutional abilities and collective group resources.
The governing body is the Florida Chapter of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (FLASCO), a 501(c)(3) organization, which represents over three hundred community and academic oncologists in Florida.
The mission of FCTN is to increase the number of high quality cancer trials available in the state of Florida and to increase patient access to clinical trials.
